EZ Router

In today’s world of constant traffic throughout the day, keeping signalized intersections in operation is no longer a luxury; it’s become a safety necessity. Working with the Ministry of the Province of Ontario, Novax has developed the EZ Router to make external cabinet connections to a traffic signal cabinet or freeway management cabinet both efficiently and safely.

Overview

The EZ Router contains three cable access ports for use with external video detection, radio, DMS/CTMS signs or other peripheral devices for temporary or permanent use. Liquid seal glands can be fitted as required.

The EZ Router can be easily installed onto existing cabinets with minimal interference with the cabinets operation. To ensure secure access to the EZ Router the key to open the box is located within the cabinet ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.

An external Antenna mounting bracket can be attached to a Type 170 cabinet ear for supporting an external antenna. The brackets supports two industry standard antenna sizes.
